It was an okay concept. Principle problems I came across:

1) Steering was bad and unresponsive.
2) You could only shoot in the cardinal directions, while enemy shooters could fire in 360 degrees.
3) Way too many layers. Made it difficult to see what was going on.
4) Finding the neon pink shadows of the scientists was difficult.
5) Considering the level of damage the monsters do to you, the complete lack of health upgrades seems like a glaring issue.

Keep trying, though!

railslave responds:

Thanks for playing
Game takes its cue from phantasy star 2's dungeons and thunderforce 2. So all things considered lol..
Some one will work out how to do it in the time, im still trying :P

Crass, tasteless, poorly animated and barely a "game" at all. At least the people that continue Edd's work are attempting to match his legacy and quality of work.

Pickilow responds:

lol

I really enjoyed this game. So many things left ambiguous and I still don't know if I'm really a force of good or evil. Very clever.

aeveis responds:

Thanks, glad you liked it!

I like the concept, but I think the initial speed is too fast. Plus, once you lose a few times, it gets boring and nothing keeps you playing.

ambidexterousgames responds:

The initial speed is 'super meat boy' like which I think is challenging . About the replay value , can you guys suggest some ways to make it better ?

I like this quite a bit. The framing device was nice. The sprites are a little small, though and I feel that the spacing of platforms (particularly the spiked ones) is too small. Good work otherwise.

Comacolors responds:

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I can see where you're coming from with the sprites being a bit small and the levels feeling kinda cramped.

I really liked the idea of each level being a single screen obstacle course because I thought the needlepoint platforming worked well with the control scheme, but it did mean making everything pretty small.

I am planning on keeping this formula for the next game just for the sake of consistency, but I will try to make the levels a little less claustrophobic.

This is everything a game should be: Easy to learn, a challenge to master, but fun the whole time you're playing it!

whileworking responds:

Thank you sir!

So frustrating, but so good because of it. I think the music toggle button isn't working.

Gameitnow responds:

Thanks! There is a background music button and a sound effect button, please push both of them if you want to stop all sounds.

I liked it. It was simple, but the brevity of the game allowed for you to go through multiple times without getting too bored. There does seem to be a glitch where the character, if they go through a left-side door for the final scene, walks all the way to the far edge and then gets stuck there.

bigdaddytool responds:

Thanks for playing and rating, and thanks for spotting that bug. This is my first game so I never expected things to go perfectly.

In any case the bug has been fixed and there should be no way for the player to get stuck on either side of the screen.

Overall, it's fine. But the health power-ups are completely useless due to their location. Going for them basically guarantees losing a life, making the attempt pointless. I would also like to see a little bit more control over the flight patterns, which cause you to drop a lot faster than you rise.

Acreonte responds:

When developing the game I managed to 'master' the skill of getting the extra life and, as I'm a bad player, I thought people would find it easy actually. Thanks a lot for your feedback, really helpful insight :)

This is a nice physics-based game with a good twist to the typical catapult launcher. I liked the use of two characters and especially the aspect of moving the knight around. The graphics are a little bit of a let-down, but that can be something you can work on for the future. I would also like something that would make the enemies more interesting. The static placement is standard for this type of game, but giving them a limited amount of movement or making them an actual threat to the player characters might make things more exciting. Good work.

Karg responds:

thanks for the mini-review :)

maybe, one day, with some funds, it will go toward a trine clone...who knows :)

which graphics have you felt were not good? the game characters, the ingame backgrounds, the menu backgrounds, the user-interface?
